We have a large menu and will be rotating items as locally sourced ingredients are available.

Pastry
We usually present up to 16 beautiful, inspired desserts to choose from, however we are constantly rotating our menu as local ingredients and inspiration becomes available. We do have our cornerstone desserts which have been continually popular and enjoyed by many visitors and locals.

Cake orders generally require 5 business days’ notice. We have a maximum number of cakes we can accommodate each day and our weekends are often booked well in advance.
Vegan and Gluten-free options are available for an additional $10 Please call the shop to discuss the current options available. For vegan cakes a printed sign will be used for the greeting on the top of the cake.
CLASSIC CAKES

Chocolate or vanilla sponge with either chocolate or vanilla bean buttercream
YYJ ~ Vanilla sponge with Earl Grey buttercream. Textured, ombre blue/grey exterior.
Finished with macarons and flowers.
PREMIUM CAKES I

Chocolate Overload
Chocolate Sponge, with layers of chocolate ganache, hazelnut crème. Smooth exterior with rosettes of chocolate ganache and finished with various chocolate garnish.
When Life gives you Lemons
Vanilla Sponge, vanilla bean buttercream, lemon curd. Smooth vanilla buttercream exterior, flowers and/or citrus wheels and macarons.
The Lover
Vanilla sponge, passionfruit curd. Smooth chocolate ganache exterior. Finished with flowers, macarons, and gold dust.
PREMIUM CAKES II

Black Forest
Three layers of rich dark chocolate cake, layered with kirsch liquor, ganache, and fresh vanilla cream. Finished with a textured layer of fresh cream on the outside and kirsch-soaked cherries.
Rainbow Pride
Five different layers of brightly coloured vanilla bean sponge finished with vanilla bean buttercream and macarons.
La Roux Carrot Cake
Six layers of spiced carrot sponge (no nuts or raisins), Textured exterior with lightly sweetened Philadelphia cream cheese icing. Finished with candied carrots, macarons and flowers.
CHEESECAKES

Smooth white chocolate cheesecake on a graham cracker base. Topped with vanilla bean buttercream and either raspberry or strawberry compote.
Additional Info
Any special-order cakes require a phone/or in-person consultation with Chef directly. Please note that the cake design changes seasonally. Not all cakes will be identical to the image shown. All cakes will be finished with some combination of fresh flowers, macarons, seasonal fruit, and chocolate.
Please note that we DO NOT generally design theme cakes and therefore do NOT work with either marzipan or fondant. There will not be menu substitutions with respect to ingredients other than vegan/G.F.
We are not a gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free facility and cannot guarantee that there will not be any cross-contamination.
Once an order has been placed with a La Roux Patisserie representative, we will confirm your order details and collect a Visa/MC number including expiry date and code.
We require a Visa or MC number to hold your cake reservation, however we will not process payment unless your order is not picked up on the requested date or if you cancel outside of our 48 hour cancellation policy. Payment will be due at the time of pickup and we accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, or cash.

Cancelation Policy
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL PRICES ARE FOR STANDARD DECORATED CAKES. COLOUR, SUBSTITUTIONS, ADDITIONAL DESIGNS, ETC. WILL INCUR ADDITIONAL COSTS IN $10 INCREMENTS. CAKE CANCELLATIONS MUST BE CONFIRMED WITH A STAFF MEMBER NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE PICKUP TIME.
