Custom Orders
La Roux Patisserie is happy to make custom orders for your special occasion.
Custom Orders will require an in person consultation with Chef. If there is availability in her schedule, she will require 2 weeks notice. Consultation times are Saturdays and Sundays at noon. Please email Chef directly at headchef@laroux.ca to book a consultation with Chef Joanne.
Wedding Tastings/Consultations
Is that Wedding Bells we hear?…a consultation is a great way for us to get to know each other before we start to work on your cake and taste cake! We assure that we will provide you with a professional and enjoyable experience and that we will put everything into making the wedding cake of your dreams.
We charge a $30 up front, non-refundable consultation fee, which will be applied to your final order if you choose to book with us. We schedule a 45 minute consultation with Chef Joanne, and ask that you provide us with the following:
- The style of your wedding
- Examples of cakes you like (Pinterest, scrapbook or pictures)
- Exact color swatches for your file (if you would like us to match)
At the time of the consultation you will be provided with a variety of flavours from our menu to help you decide. If you are unsure about the style of your wedding, or don’t have anything in mind for your cake, please let us know ahead of time so we can schedule more time for brainstorming.
Following your consultation with Chef you will be provided a quote within 7 days of your tasting via email. We would ask that you confirm your booking within 14 days of receiving your quote. After this period, we will release your date back into our calendar. We recommend booking your wedding cake date as soon as you have your venue date set, as certain periods of the year tend to book up quickly (especially during the summer months). A small deposit ($100) is required to secure your date upon confirmation of your booking. This can be settled in various methods.
Although further gratuities for Chef and her brigade will be greatly appreciated, they will be at your be at your digression and will not be automatically added to the final invoice.
