I am an east coast girl thriving on and loving the west coast. I am a proud parent of 3, very loving ferrets who are my main source of entertainment. When I am not in the kitchen, I can be found riding around this beautiful island on my scooter or working on writing a book that I hope one day to inspire others with. After studying culinary arts in Nelson BC. I worked at Raudz in Kelowna with some of the most talented chefs the Okanagan had to offer. I moved to Victoria September of 2017 with dreams of one day working at La Roux. Patience, persistence and a positive attitude lead me to having the job of my dreams. Pastry has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Having lived all over Canada I plan to provide elegant French pastries made for you of the freshest, as local as possible, ingredients. La Roux’s owner, Rebecca, retired to Victoria in 2014 from Calgary. She loves the energy of beautiful, vibrant Victoria and meeting wonderful and interesting people every day.
